Patient Information

After Your Surgery

After your surgery, you will receive instructions pertaining specifically to your type of surgery. These instructions will contain information regarding wound care, medications, and what to expect in the healing process.

First Follow-up Appointment
Most surgeries require a follow-up appointment within one to two weeks of your surgery. Such appointments are included in the cost of your surgery, and no co-pays will be due at that time.

Please call us to make this follow-up appointment as soon as you get out of the hospital to ensure you obtain an appointment within the recommended time frame if an appointment has not already been made.

Biopsies and Test Results
Reports on biopsies, CT scans, and all other diagnostic tests are processed every business day. We make every effort to call patients the same day we receive the reports in order to reduce patients’ anxiety that can be associated with waiting for results.
